LEATHER HIDE YIELD

DUE TO THE IRREGULAR SHAPE OF HIDES,
there will always be a certain amount of waste from each hide, typically around 25%. For clean symmetrical cuts, the cut area is approximately 4 to 6 inches in from the sides of the hide.

In addition to the irregular edges, there will often be scars, scratches, holes and brand marks that you will need to creatively work around.

ORDER INFORMATION

Leather is a natural product produced in irregular shapes. When ordering, it is best to estimate 18 square feet for each yard of 54" fabric required.

All top grain leathers contain natural markings, which are the hallmarks of genuine leather.
Hides average 50 square feet each
The minimum order is one hide

CUSTOM COLORS MADE TO ORDER

Our leather hides are available in a wide range of colors. However, in the event that there is no satisfactory color to meet your special requirements, we are in a position to create custom colors to match your fabric, carpet, or wallpaper. We can custom-match most colors and finishes for $16.95 a square foot plus a one-time color matching charge of $100.00.
